Meadowcroft combines ancient history with 19th century charm by featuring a 16,000-year-old campsite alongside a village recreating rural life from the 1800s.

Located within an hour's drive of Pittsburgh, Wheeling, W.Va., and Steubenville, Ohio, Meadowcroft is a perfect day trip for families, school groups and history lovers.

Meadowcroft operates in association with the Senator John Heinz History Center, an affiliate of the Smithsonian in Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania's largest history museum.
